Some artists are just not for me. That is not to say that they are not good artists or make great music but it's just not my jam. That was my experience with Nanpa Basico, a rapper from Colombia. He has millions of people who love what he is doing and I'm not one of them but then came this song. My ears perked up from the very first notes. He uses this goat type vibration in his voice, like a very exaggerated Shakira. Reading this description back, it sounds horrible but somehow it really makes this song about loneliness perfect. I love this one Nanpa Basico song and maybe in the future he'll surprise me with more.
This song is good for remembering to never write anyone off because you never know how they will surprise you.
