I think that I need to learn French. If only to understand beautiful music like this. Kolinga kills it with this song that I don't understand but can feel. Kolinga is a group from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. On top of their awesomeness, on this version of the song they bring in Gaël Faye, who is a singer-rapper based in France with family roots in Rwanda. What I love about this song, is the use of rhythms and language that is new for me.
This song is good for being inspired by the beauty of cultures that are not your own.
