Ivy Queen is a beast!! She has been at the top of the Reggaeton game since the beginning and deserves all the praise she gets and then some. Especially for being one of the few women who dominate in the genre.
In looking up the lyrics for this song, I came across a Spotify 10 episode podcast hosted by Ivy Queen about the history of Reggaeton, LOUD. Absolutely going to have to give it a listen. For genres like Reggaeton, there sometimes is not a lot of respect to the craft needed to make the music happen. Some people feel that way about rap or pop country. I have to admit I feel that way about a few genres but I try to keep it to a minimum. I think by listening to the history of a genre, we can gain some appreciation for the music.
This song is good for holding tight to your partner and not letting anything get between you.
