I LOVE IDLES!!! I will not hold back about how much I love this band. I love their version of punk rock. I love their song topics. I love their lyrics. I love the power that they put into their performances. I had the absolute pleasure of seeing them perform a while back. They gave it their full 100% on a Tuesday night even. I go to shows as much as I possibly can and this one goes down as one of the very best because of how much absolute raw power and love this band puts out.
I post this song because as a child of immigrants, it honestly made my cry the first time that I heard it. To hear anyone so openly embrace the other and call them brother, well that was fucking awesome. I especially love these sets of words, because it brings it back to the root fear. We live with so much of it. The question for me is, how do we fight against our own fear and move ourselves into love?
Fear leads to panic
