Dead Posey - Never Let Me Down Again

Dead Posey are here with a beautiful stripped down cover of this 1987 Depeche Mode original. The lead singer Danyell Souza does a beautiful job of making me feel a longing and tragedy this version, that I didn't quite get with the original. It is like she is hoping that the friend won't let them down but maybe they will and that is the tragedy, hope misplaced. Yet, that is part of life. Isn't it? To trust in each other and hope that it will work out, while all the time knowing that it might not. Damn, life can be complicated.

This song is good for kneeling before your black alter full of candles and sage, asking to not be let down again.

Enjoy!
